Cathodic Protection
Cathodic protection (CP) is an electrochemical method for preventing corrosion in steel reinforced concrete. Some components are embedded in the target structure: anode ribbon, negative connection, positive connection, and monitoring sensors. All anodes must be integrated with the concrete. i.e. concrete is the Electrolyte.
